Normally, I would never reply to such a juvenile and uninformed post.
However, this message carries an implication that I not only take my
prereaders for granted, but that I also blow off ideas that they have
and ignore what they say.

This is, of course, not true. It would defeat the very purpose of
having prereaders to begin with. I do not just bend over and let
prereaders dictate the contents of my stories, but neither do I simply
blow off and ignore suggestions. I most certainly do not take them for
granted.

I take the time to reply to every email I get from prereaders and fans
alike, with explanations of what ideas I used, what ideas I did not,
and why I did not use the ideas I didn't.

I will no longer take the time to explain that prereaders just don't
reply (or don't reply fast enough) sometimes. The other replies to
this post have already done that. Once again, however, I would like to
clarify that I do not, and never have, taken any of my prereaders for
granted.
