Another point you sometimes see is that most of the
bad guys the senshi fight absord the life-force from
people. That renders many of Ranma's attacks useless.
No ki blasts for certain.
Yeah, on a purely martial arts level, Venus and Jupiter between them�
are at least Ryouga's equal and could give Ranma a run for his money�
without breaking a sweat.
He'd beat them eventually, but it would be close.
I'm not trying to open a debate on who would beat who -- though, if
it came to that, I suspect that simple teamwork from the senshi
(something not prevalent in the Ranma canon) might have something of
an impact.
Rather, I think (or at least I hope) that my point is that a crossover
writer ought to show a decent respect for *both* canon.
