However, if you'd bothered to check your own mailing history, you'd
have seen this little tidbit:

From: "Cute Kitsune Kaydee" <fox1 at colla.com>
To: "FFML" <ffml at anifics.com>
Subject: [FFML] [Ranma] [Alternate] Death And Rebirth

And hey, why not peer more intently into the mists of time?

From: "Fox The Wanderer" <fox1 at colla.com>
To: <ffml at fanfic.com>
Subject: [FFML] [Fanfic] [Ranma] [Alternate] Death And Rebirth
Date: Wed, 6 Dec 2000 19:10:24 -0600

In other words, this is at least the third time you've posted this
fic, on three different incarnations of the FFML, and with two
seperate email accounts.

If you're going to repost, at least label it as such. If it's a
revision, also label it as such.

Having just reread all three postings repeatedly, allow me to
highlight all the differences.

And that was it!

The only thing changed, in the six years between the oldest posting I
can find and this one, is the disclaimer. Oh, and your pen name.

I know you've done this with other "fics" of yours, but I'm not going
to waste my time hunting them all down. Let me toss just a few titles
out, see if they ring any bells: "Usagi The Were", posted three times.
"Journey Into Infinity", posted three times. "The New Girl Type
Series", posted twice. "De Man Arrives", four. "The Exile's Crime",
four. And the winner, "The Big Choice", posted a total of five times.

Now, this point has already been covered, but I'm going to restate it,
in the hopes of it sinking in.

You need to stop posting "fics" until AFTER you've sat down and
actually written them.

What you just posted?

Not a fic. It's an outline, a summary at best. Now, if you took that
and actually expanded it to fill in all the missing details (and
there's a lot of them), it might pass the line into merely "a bad
fic".

I say this, knowing full well you're going to ignore it utterly. In
fact, I'd be willing to bet a significant number of people didn't even
see this, having killfiled you long ago.

The sad thing is, in my years of being on the FFML, this is honestly
about the best thing I've ever seen you post. You actually don't
commit any greatly horrible sins against grammar, the punctuation is
at least present, and it looks like it's been spell-checked.

But it's still not a STORY. There's no character development, no
plot, no details, no backstory, nothing.

Until you can write something with those? Don't post, for all our sakes.
