First:  I think 'songfics' in this format are better
known as 'vidfics' or 'clipfics', as they are more
properly scripts for a videoclip rather than a story
inspired by/set to a song.

I haven't seen one of these in *years* and then two
come along!  I thought they pretty much died out with
the advent of affordable home video editing software,
when people could *make* what they were describing
with them.  Since it's really hard for some people
(including me) to actually visualise some scenes when
they haven't seen much of a series (eg, I've seen some
scenes of first-season One Piece, enough to know who
some of the characters are, but what does this Sanji
guy look like?) I have always felt the anime
videoclips were a step up, as they really are the
epitome of 'show, don't tell'.

Overall: I haven't seen enough One Piece to tell you
if this is a good song for it and I've not made any
AMVs to tell you if this is a good script for one
(although it does look as if it would make a good
one).  But I strongly urge you to make the effort to
make these scripts into AMVs.  I really think that, if
you're finding yourself writing this format rather
than stories, that maybe your medium is the AMV rather
than the fic.
