Excellent, Excellent story!  It's been a while since I've read such a simple, elegant tale of Ranma and Akane.  I won't comment in detail, but I will say that while you may have pushed the character's characterizations, in general, slightly off Canon, you did so in a believable and sustainable way in order to tell a truly worthy tale.  I will mention, however, that Sasuke is not Canonically well paid.  He subsists on bread and water... although I suppose that may be mostly the anime version of him.  All in all, however, a very good story indeed.
